Meet the Staff 2015!

Camp Talooli has one of the greatest summer staffs around. With nearly 80% of our staff returning each year, our staff members are incredibly skilled, innovative, and enthusiastic about sharing their love of summer camp with Talooli campers. This is a way for us to share just how special each of our counselors, program staff, and leaders are.

Name:

Gina Babcock

Position at Camp this summer:

Counselor

How many years have you been coming to Camp Talooli?

13 years! Gina was a Talooli camper and CIT before she started working as a camp counselor.

What is the funniest thing a camper has ever said to you?

A camper once asked me if I was a CIT and I told them, "No,  I am a counselor." Then they said, "Ohh so you're a CIT 4 and Jeff is a CIT 100!"

Who was your favorite counselor when you were a camper?

My favorite counselor was Melanie, because she always remembered my name and she was super nice and fun to be around!

What is your favorite theme week?

My favorite theme week is Fairytale Week, because it's always fun to see all of the different fairytales come to life.

If you were a superhero, what would your superhero name be?

The Ruby Ninja!

What are you most looking forward to about this summer?

I am definitely looking forward to mega dog! But other than that, I'm looking forward to making lots of great memories at Camp with campers and staff!

What is your favorite camp song?

My favorite camp song is The German Bootcamp song, because it's so much fun to sing in an accent and to say things like chin chowser and rubber necker

What is your favorite part about working on staff at Camp Talooli?

My favorite part about being on staff is being able to work with such a great group of people. Everyone is so close and friendly, almost like one big happy family and I love being a part of that.
