Meet the Staff 2016!

Camp Talooli has one of the greatest summer staffs around. With nearly 80% of our staff returning each year, our staff members are incredibly skilled, innovative, and enthusiastic about sharing their love of summer camp with Talooli campers. This is a way for us to share just how special each of our counselors, program staff, and leaders are.

Nature Director

How many years have you been coming to Camp Talooli?

12 years! Morgan was a Talooli camper, CIT, and counselor before she became our Nature Director.

What is your favorite spot at Camp Talooli?

 My favorite spot in Camp is Greenwood - a clearing on the hill next to Van Dyke Lodge. There you are surrounded by tall pine trees and have the perfect spot for a campfire. It is my favorite spot to make Nature tea and roast s'mores.

What type of career are you planning to pursue?

I've always wanted to work with animals, so I am currently studying Environmental Biology. I would like to pursue a career in environmental and wildlife conservation. 

If you could visit another country, where would you choose to go?

It is a goal of mine to visit Australia. There are so many different types of animals and foods that it would be a whole new experience!

What is your favorite part about working on staff at Camp Talooli?

I've learned a few things at camp about myself that I probably wouldn't have acquired anywhere else. I've learned how to be a leader, how to be a good public speaker, how to work with kids and fellow peers, and most importantly to climb out of my comfort zone and express myself!
